Day 18 - Child Department Accepted Our Papers! :)

Today is a good day for documents! Our lawyer called and said the child department accepted our documents, so now we can apply for a court date. Yippee! :-)

Ivan, our lawyer, will be going to Nizhyn on Monday to talk to the judge to get us a court date. He is having us sign some papers on Sunday, so we don't have to go with him on Monday. He will handle it all. So Monday is another big day, as the judge's schedule and decision will determine how quickly we get a court date. The lawyer will be striving to get a court date early next week.

Again, we are praying Proverbs 21:1 which states, "The king’s (or judge's) heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will." May the Lord give us the best date according to His will & glory!
